Diagnosis

Bruce Campbell has revealed that his cancer prognosis is “a five-year deal,” nearly six months after first announcing his diagnosis. The 68-year-old actor, best known for playing Ash Williams in the 'Evil Dead' franchise, discussed his health during an interview on 'The Adam Carolla Show' on September 3.

Campbell has not disclosed the type of cancer, which he previously described as treatable but not curable. Rather than allowing the diagnosis to dominate his life, he decided to stay positive and remain focused on his work.

“It’s a fascinating thing that takes place because [cancer] messes with your head, too. I’ve decided, though, specifically, to live with it, not die from it,” he said.
