Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, 58, has revealed he recently underwent treatment to remove basal cell carcinoma, a common non-melanoma form of skin cancer. Sharing the news on Instagram on August 31, Ramsay thanked the “incredible” medical team who performed the procedure and urged followers not to forget their sunscreen.
A photo showed dressings below his ear where the cancer was removed. Ramsay joked, “I promise you it’s not a facelift. I’d need a refund,” while stressing the importance of sun protection.
