R&B singer Ray J, former partner of Kim Kardashian and Brandy's brother, has revealed that he might not make it to 2027, following complications with his heart health.
Doctors have prescribed him eight medications to treat serious heart issues after a recent hospitalization for pneumonia. The 45-year-old said: “I was in the hospital. My heart’s only beating, like, 25%. But as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, everything will be alright. So thank you for all your prayers.”
Physicians warned Ray J that he may have only months to live, possibly not making it to 2027. He says he is trying to follow medical advice and change his lifestyle, and may need a defibrillator.
His situation highlights a broader and often overlooked reality. Keeping your heart healthy is crucial for overall well-being, yet heart disease remains one of the leading causes of death and often develops gradually over time. The good news is that certain lifestyle changes can help slow progression and even reverse some of the damage.
