Mar-a-Lago is one of the most iconic and controversial estates in the US. Built in the Roaring Twenties, it was left to the government as a Winter White House. After being rejected, it was bought by business tycoon Donald Trump, who was famously photographed hosting Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell there.
