"Dry begging" is essentially a form of indirect communication that can lead to a lot of guesswork, confusion, and frustration. This is when someone drops a hint, expecting the other person to pick up on it and act accordingly. Unlike with open, direct communication, a person hints about their needs and/or wants, expecting the other person to do something about it, often out of guilt or sympathy.
In this gallery, we explore the concept of dry begging, why people do it, and how to deal with it (from both sides). Click on for more.
