The Global Biodiversity Index is designed to rank more than 200 nations and city-states according to how many species they have, namely birds, amphibians, fish, mammals, reptiles, and plants. For comparison, Brazil is the most biodiverse nation on the planet and boasts a global biodiversity index of 512.34.
