A lightning strike at a New Jersey archery range left one man dead and 13 others injured on the evening of July 16, authorities said. The incident occurred around 7:15 pm at the Black Knight Bowbenders range in Jackson Township, according to local police.
A 61-year-old man died from his injuries, while another person was briefly unconscious. The remaining victims, including a seven-year-old child, suffered burns and reported feeling unwell. All were taken to nearby hospitals, though their current conditions have not been released.
