The latest finding in the Jeffrey Epstein files suggests he worked for Israel’s secret service, Mossad, according to documents recently released by the US Department of Justice.
The file dump included a 2020 FBI report from the FBI’s Los Angeles office saying a confidential informant had become convinced Epstein was a “co-opted Mossad agent,” and had been “trained as a spy.”
The released documents also show that Epstein funded organizations linked to the Israeli military, including the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces, which raises money for active-duty soldiers and veterans, and the Jewish National Fund (JNF).
Although Epstein’s close friendship with former prime minister Ehud Barak has fueled speculation about his ties to Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded on X, saying, “Jeffrey Epstein’s unusually close relationship with Ehud Barak doesn’t suggest he worked for Israel. It proves the opposite.”
