Money: it's a gas. It makes the world turn, yet most of it is held by the few people at the top. So, when a billionaire decides to be charitable and redistribute their incomprehensible funds, it’s a huge deal.
The latest? Jack Dorsey, who famously heads Twitter but also payments company Square. It's through the latter that he's just made a major commitment: he's moving US$1 billion of his equity in Square to fund COVID-19 relief efforts (at a later date, parts of this donation may go to other causes as well). The large amount in question will be distributed through Dorsey's Start Small LLC charitable fund.
