Meghan Markle's royal road to motherhood
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have welcomed their second child together

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have welcomed their second child together, Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, they announced on June 6. Archie’s baby sister’s name pays tribute to both Queen Elizabeth II and Harry's late mother, Princess Diana.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wrote on their Archewell charity website, "On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we've felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family."
The occasion is especially joyous as Markle bravely revealed in November that she'd suffered a miscarriage last year. "Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by few," she wrote in a heartbreaking essay.
This second child was in the couple's plan as they stepped down as senior royals last year in order to attempt something of a normal family life. Lili is still eighth in line to the throne, however, right after Archie.
But even with Meghan Markle's face continuously splashed across most magazines and tabloids, how much do you really know about the Duchess of Sussex? How does a TV actress become British royalty with a son in line for the throne, and then seemingly give it up? Well, her journey is anything but ordinary. Check out this gallery to see her regal road from 'Suits' to Sussex and back to Southern California.
