What are the most in-demand jobs right now?
How the pandemic continues to shift the job market
The impact of the coronavirus pandemic is not nearly over, manifesting as both a financial and health crisis. This, of course, affects the job market both in terms of what is needed and who is struggling. One piece of good news is that, even though economic recovery is slow and uncertain around the world, hiring rates are starting to increase again.
A new LinkedIn study looked at job posting data and compiled two sets of valuable information: firstly, which jobs have seen the fastest-growing demand—meaning the biggest percentage growth in the number of job posts—from June to July 2020, and secondly, the most in-demand roles overall, which are those with the highest number of job posts by the end of July. The latter are more likely to be more stable trends for the rest of the year. The two sets of data are also divided into all jobs versus specifically remote jobs.
