On February 26, NASA launched a dishwasher-sized satellite from Florida, with the mission of locating water deposits on the Moon's surface, especially in the shadowed craters near its poles—vital for future lunar missions.

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carried the Lunar Trailblazer orbiter into space from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral.
