He suddenly heard the morgue freezer alarm go off. It was a motion activated alarm, only triggered when movement is detected inside the locked freezer room to ensure no one gets trapped in there.

He ran to the freezer assuming his professor was inside, but he met his professor on his way. They looked at each other and silently went to investigate. There was no one inside the freezer. No one living, anyway...

A student worked part time as a night watchman at a Toys "R" Us store. The place was always a little strange. Lights flickering on and off, toys falling off the shelf, strange noises at night, etc.

One night, he decided to try an experiment. He focused on a red balloon in the store and said "if there is a ghost here, then that balloon, the red one in the middle of the roof will pop."

The balloon burst just as he was finishing his sentence. He turned on all the lights and waited right by the door until his shift was over!

The employees at a youth rehab facility told the new guy about the resident ghost, Amanda. It was rumored that a girl named Amanda hung herself at the center years ago, and was sometimes spotted in the corridors at night.

A few months later, the new guy was on the night shift when he saw a sad-looking girl sitting with her knees against her chest in the hallway. He went to help her but got distracted by a noise behind him.

A nature photographer was stationed at a waterfall for several hours after dark. Once he'd captured his photos he started to make his way back up the trail in the dark.

A control operator was working alone overnight. At 3 am he noticed something on the camera pointed at the back door of the building.

Someone was standing at the back door wearing a Scream mask, not moving, and just staring at the camera.

The employee went to peek out the back door and there was no one there. When he returned to his station, the person in the mask walked in front of the camera again, waved at him, and then walked away!

A student was studying late at the computer lab, all alone. The lab was two floors underground and sometimes called "the dungeon."

He went down the corridor to get some water at around 2 am. The motion sensor lights at the far end of the corridor suddenly turned on. He ran out of there when he saw something move in the darkness between him and the light.
