Established in 2003, the Red Bull Air Race was one of the most eagerly anticipated sporting challenges in the world. The event saw some of the finest pilots fly over stunning locations while navigating a slalom course made of inflatable pylons, and drew thousands of spectators. The series ran successfully for 16 years, holding more than 90 events in 34 different cities across the globe. The event is slated to return in 2022, but without the sponsorship of Red Bull.
