Many of us enjoy the macabre allure of a good true crime documentary, but the thought of actually getting close to a killer is terrifying. A person with hybristophilia, however, feels drawn to them. Famous convicted murderers are overwhelmed by love letters and ‘fan mail’ once they’re apprehended. Many have even started relationships through correspondence and gotten married while in prison.
