On March 8, The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that at least 20 people have died from malnutrition in hospitals and warned that they believe dozens are dying "silently," unable to reach medical facilities. A delegation from the World Health Organization visited northern Gaza and confirmed at least 10 child deaths due to hunger. It's estimated that 1.9 million Palestinian civilians have been displaced by the conflict, with many living in rapidly growing refugee camps with no access to food, water, electricity, or healthcare. 

War is a harrowing ordeal, leaving behind a trail of devastation wherever it strikes. Over the ages, countless individuals have been uprooted from their homes, compelled to embark on perilous voyages in search of safety and asylum. These citizens are victims of situations largely out of their control, and typically receive little outside help. Yet, their narratives demand our attention, by delving into past calamities, we gain insights crucial for aiding today's victims.
