The French Foreign Legion is one of most feared military organizations in the world. It's also one of the most mysterious. An elite unit of the French Army, the legion comprises around 8,000 volunteer combatants recruited from numerous countries across the globe. Legionnaires can expect deployments to a range of challenging, remote, and often hostile environments, and are expected to demonstrate at all times a "fight to the death" attitude.
