Buckingham Palace issued a statement declining the request for the remains of Prince Alemayehu to be returned to his homeland of Ethiopia in 2023. The prince, who was brought to the UK in the 1800s as a seven-year-old orphan, died at the age of 18 and is currently buried in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
