Approximately a decade later, Robert de Boron, a French writer, delved into the tale of Percival and crafted a literary piece titled 'Joseph d'Arimathie.' Within this book, Joseph (the one who laid Jesus to rest) is described as utilizing the cup from the Last Supper to gather Jesus' blood.

After the disappearance of Jesus' tomb, Joseph faced arrest. However, Christ appeared to Joseph, presenting the Holy Grail to him. This sacred artifact provided sustenance throughout his confinement. Joseph became the original guardian of the Holy Grail, followed later on by others.

The tale of the Fisher King differs according to authors, yet he's generally depicted as a descendant of Joseph of Arimathea. He holds the role of the Grail's final guardian, plagued by a curse that can only be broken by a chivalrous knight who will rescue both him and his realm.

Harry Potter and the Holy Grail? -

Wolfram von Eschenbach's poem, 'Parzival', provides additional intriguing details to the story. It reveals that the Grail is, in fact, a stone from Lucifer's crown known as the "lapsit exillis", which is synonymous with the philosopher's stone. Thus, we find Harry Potter woven into the narrative.
