Beekeeper’s Naturals has voluntarily recalled its saline nasal spray after testing found elevated yeast levels and the possible presence of Aspergillus species, a common type of mold.

The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the recall on June 11, warning that the contamination could lead to serious or even life-threatening infections in people with weakened immune systems or lung conditions.

The affected product is a 1-fluid-ounce (approximately 30 ml) bottle of sinus congestion rinse sold through Amazon. According to the FDA, 585 units from lot number 5950, with an expiration date of February 2028, were mistakenly shipped and sold between April 2 and April 24, 2026, due to a clerical error.

Beekeeper’s Naturals said it has received four reports of possible adverse reactions, including sinus congestion, irritation, and infection, and stated that corrective actions have been taken to address the issue.
