At the age of 75, she passed away in 1996, however, prior to her death, she made numerous significant predictions about the future.

In the 1950s, she made a forecast that appeared to foreshadow climate change and the catastrophic tsunami that happened in the Indian Ocean on December 26, 2004.

These occurrences further established Vanga's credibility as a psychic within her followers. Many attest to the high reliability of her predictions. Professor Georgi Lozanov, a Bulgarian psychiatrist, even determined her accuracy rate to be an impressive 85%.

Baba Vanga's prediction accuracy for 2022 was commendable, as notable events such as plagues of locusts and water shortages materialized. However, her predictions for 2023 were largely inaccurate, fortunately sparing us from the likes of nuclear war, solar storms, and mass infertility.

Baba Vanga has a history of inaccurate predictions. In 1994, she stated that the World Cup Final would involve two teams whose names started with the letter B.
