Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra was removed from office by a Thai court on August 29 after a phone call she made to Cambodia's former leader was ruled to have breached ethics rules.

Paetongtarn, 37, took office in August 2024 as the youngest prime minister in the country's history and the latest member of the Shinawatra dynasty to lead the government.
