Three people were killed and at least five others injured after a gas explosion at a Dallas apartment complex on May 28.
Dallas Fire & Rescue said crews were responding to a gas leak at the building on 9th St. just before 1 pm local time when a big explosion happened, causing a fire.
Besides the deadly victims, five others were injured, including one person who is in critical but stable condition. Search efforts continue and the death toll could increase, fire officials confirmed.
The cause of the explosion is still unknown. However, Atmos Energy said a construction company not linked to them damaged a natural gas pipeline, according to information released by The New York Times.
