The statement explained that he would carry on handling state business and paperwork while he undergoes cancer treatment. It went on to say that the King chose to share his diagnosis to avoid speculation about his absence, and to "assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer.” He is reportedly feeling optimistic about his treatment and looks forward to returning to public duties as soon as possible.

King Henry II did indeed die a cruel death. He was taking part in a jousting competition when his younger opponent’s lance connected with his helmet, with the lance splitting in two. The wood punctured his eye and his temple, leaving him severely wounded. The King suffered for 10 days before dying of his wounds.

King Philip II of Spain's reign -

Nostradamus wrote a poem that outlines the rise and fall of King Philip II’s reign. The first lines of the poem predict that King Philip would initially prosper. This was true! It also claimed that he would “reduce the Arab army.” This seems to refer to the Battle of Lepanto. A Spanish fleet clashed with ships sent by the Ottoman Empire and brutally defeated them.
