Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi and South Korean President Lee Jae Myung met for diplomatic talks in Nara, Japan, on January 13, after which the Japanese prime minister reserved a surprise for her guest: two drum sets for them to play.
Lee had told Takaichi in a past meeting that "drumming was his dream," and the prime minister prepared the stage, suits, and a couple of K-pop hits for them to play, including the hit track 'Golden' from the Netflix hit 'KPop Demon Hunters' (2025).
Indeed, a world leader's lot is a busy one at the best of times. And if you're a president or prime minister, there's not enough time beyond running a country to do much else. And yet there are some world leaders and heads of state who display hidden talents well beyond their normal realm. They have managed to find time to play music or learn languages, for example, and even compete in championship sports.
