Cardinal modality (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) -

Cardinal signs initiate, as they are ambitious and (sometimes) reckless, with a desire to lead. They represent each sign that marks the beginning of a new season. Aries = spring, Cancer = summer, Libra = autumn, Capricorn = winter. They are good at keeping things in perspective and are extremely driven to succeed.

Fixed signs are rooted, sometimes to the point of being immovable! They represent the midpoint of each season, stabilizing what begins in the cardinal season. Fixed signs are loyal, enjoy routine, and are very reliable.
