Israeli military continued to strike southern Lebanon, despite US President Donald Trump declaring there would be no military action on Beirut after a heated call with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
As the delegations prepare for another round of talks, Trump has declared he believes a deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and extend the ceasefire with Iran is reachable “over the next week.”
