Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo delivered one of the most remarkable performances in NBA history on March 10, scoring 83 points in a 150–129 win over the Washington Wizards. The total is now the second-highest single-game scoring performance in NBA history, surpassing Kobe Bryant’s famous 81-point game in 2006.
Adebayo erupted early, scoring 31 points in the first quarter alone. He finished the night shooting 20-for-43 from the field, adding 36 made free throws on 43 attempts, both of which set NBA single-game records.
Only Wilt Chamberlain’s legendary 100-point game in 1962 ranks higher.
Adebayo's performance adds yet another unforgettable moment to the league’s long history of extraordinary feats on the court.
