25. Liam Payne -

The first entry of the top 25 is ex-One Direction member Liam Payne. The English singer-songwriter died after falling from a balcony in November, aged 31. Payne's Wikipedia article had 12,087,141 page views.

The Wikipedia page of politician RFK Jr, who was nominated by Donald Trump to serve as US Secretary of health and human services, had 12,375,410 page views.

In 2024, the sci-fi movie directed by Denis Villeneuve made an entry in top 25, with a total of 12,788,834 page views.

22. Sean Combs -

The rapper had been accused of a number of sex-related crimes in 2024, so users flocked to Wikipedia to read more about him. They did so 13,112,437 times.

21. Griselda Blanco -

The page about the Colombian woman who built a drug empire in Miami was one of the most viewed on Wikipedia in 2024. This is mostly due to Sofía Vergara's portrayal of Blanco on the Netflix show 'Griselda.' The article had 13,491,792 page views.

The record-breaking Portuguese soccer star continues to draw attention from the masses. In 2024, his Wikipedia page was visited 13,698,372 times.

19. Joe Biden -

The Wikipedia article on Joe Biden was also one of the most-visited in 2024, for obvious reasons. The page had 14,536,522 clicks.

18. 'Kalki 2898 AD' -

The second movie to make it into the top 25 is not a Hollywood blockbuster. Instead, it's the sci-fi Indian film 'Kalki 2898 AD.' The film's Wikipedia page had 14,588,383 page views.

The controversial businessman made the headlines several times in 2024 for various reasons, including his support of Trump's presidential campaign. Musk's article had 15,535,053 clicks.

In 2024, the US was under the world's eye, especially because of the presidential election. This is the only page about a country to feature on the top 25, with 15,657,243 page views.

15. UEFA Euro 2024 -

While the Olympics were followed closely by millions, the 2024 European soccer championship was also a heavily-searched topic. The Wikipedia page had a total of 15,680,913 clicks.

The Paris Games were arguably the greatest sports event of the year. As such, the article on Wikipedia registered 16,061,381 page views.

The OpenAI tool was the most-viewed topic in 2023. In 2024, ChatGPT has fallen to the twelfth position, with 16,595,350 page views.

One of the most popular artists of the year, Taylor Swift's Wikipedia page had a whopping 17,089,827 views.

While the US presidential election dominated Wikipedia searches, the Indian general election was also a very popular article, with 18,149,666 clicks.

The Heritage Foundation's conservative political initiative, also known as the 2025 Presidential Transition Project, was one of the most searched topics on Wikipedia. The article had 19,741,623 page views.

The Marvel superhero movie starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman was the most popular movie search on Wikipedia in 2024. In total, it had 22,362,102 page views.

JD Vance ran with Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election and is now the US Vice President-elect. His article on Wikipedia had 23,303,160 page views.

In an unexpected turn of events, Vice President Kamala Harris became the Democratic Presidential candidate in 2024. Harris eventually lost the election to Donald Trump. Wikipedia searches amounted to 28,960,278 page views.
