On July 16, Russia struck a shopping center in the town of Dobropillia, which is located in the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine. At least four people were killed and 27 injured. Russian forces used a FAB-type half-tonne (500-kilogram) aerial bomb.
Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelenskyy called the attack "simply horrific." He told the media, “This is horrendous, dumb Russian terror. Simply an attempt to kill as many as possible. Russia is all about vile strikes like this.”
