Tibet

In March 1959, Tibetan history changed forever. Following nearly a decade of Chinese occupation, the Tibetan government crumbled under the tyrannical rule of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), signing a treaty that ended the official role of the Dalai Lama as the nation’s spiritual leader.
