FIFA is reportedly considering moving some 2026 World Cup matches from the United States to Canada due to escalating concerns over US visa policies.

The latest restrictions have drawn criticism from fans and human rights groups, as entire delegations of supporters, media, and staff struggle to secure entry into the US.

With the tournament just a year away, doubts persist over whether the United States is ready to host soccer’s biggest event, or is it on course to score an embarrassing own goal?
