A frighteningly tall and powerful lumberjack with a heart of gold, Bunyan was born out of the oral tradition of 19th-century loggers. His name is synonymous with strength, vitality, and goodwill, and he remains the central figure in numerous tall tales chronicling the logging industry of old.
