Diesel and gasoline are being smuggled from the US to Mexico via land and sea. The “illicit fuel game” is being conducted by criminal organizations in Mexico and their counterparts in the United States. The numbers are stark. Up to 27% of fuel consumption in Mexico is coming from the US.
