It is often believed that older people are most likely to suffer from loneliness. However, a study has revealed that almost a quarter of teenage girls experience loneliness—making them the loneliest group in the world.
These worrying results come from a Commission on Social Connection, which was conducted by the World Health Organization (WHO) in a bid to understand the loneliness epidemic that is affecting people across the globe.
