A new study by Wiringo has revealed how often Europeans are left in the dark. The rankings are based on two measures: average annual downtime—the total hours per person without electricity each year, and average outage frequency—the number of interruptions a typical customer experiences. Together, they reveal not only how severe blackouts are, but also how often they strike. The results show major contrasts across the continent.
