MOVIES Hollywood memorabilia
Have you ever watched a movie that you loved so much that you wanted to hold it in your hands and keep it forever? Well, for some people that urge was very strong—thousands and thousands of dollars strong.
Many items from the James Bond franchise have been put up for auction, the latest of which is 007's signature Walther PPK pistol. Though referred to as the PPK, the prop in the very first Bond film, starring the late Sean Connery, was actually the Walther PP. The deactivated pistol goes up for auction at the upcoming "Icons & Idols Trilogy: Hollywood" sale on December 3, and is expected to go for at least $200,000. After all, it's the handgun that helped define the Bond we know and love.
But that's not even close to the highest bidders' prices on other memorabilia! Check out this gallery to see what other pieces of your favorite movies were sold for the most obscene amounts of money, based on a list compiled by BroBible which includes the buyer's premium. All amounts in USD.
