There are a few very good film remakes out there. Sometimes a film resonates with audiences and critics alike and is a resounding success. The Oscar winning ‘The Departed’, is itself a remake of a film called ‘Infernal Affairs’.
However, this is not the time to discuss great films. Generally, remakes are dismissed by critics as being pointless and without any new artistic license. Some remakes just don't make any sense!
