Geena Davis's rocky working relationship with Bill Murray made headlines in 2021 when she released her memoir, 'Dying of Politeness.' Davis described several uncomfortable and upsetting incidents that occurred when they worked together on the 1990 film 'Quick Change,' which Murray both starred in and directed. In a recent interview with Kara Swisher, Davis went into more detail about Murray's abusive behavior on the set. On their first day of shooting, they were filming a scene with hundreds of extras at a busy Manhattan intersection. Davis was in wardrobe when the assistant director came to get her. She told them that she had been asked to wait a minute by the costume department, and got permission from the assistant director to do so.

However, Murray was not happy with the momentary delay. "Seconds later, Bill Murray — in a full clown costume, by the way — slams into the trailer with rage coming out of his eyeballs and starts screaming at me and swearing at me. Move! Move!'” She continued, “And he got behind me and screamed in my ear, ‘Move! Move faster! Move it!’ And we’re getting to this intersection where there’s hundreds of people watching this, and he keeps it up and keeps it up until he says, ‘Stand there’ and points to a mark on the pavement and starts shooting.”

Davis told Swisher that she was literally shaking in front of the camera after the verbal assault and felt emotional describing the incident again.

Davis is not the only person to have called out Murray for his behavior on set. In 2021, Lucy Liu revealed that he insulted her in a manner that was “unacceptable” and “inexcusable” on the set of 'Charlie's Angels' (2000). Production on Aziz Ansari's film 'Being Mortal' had to be suspended in 2022 following allegations of Murray's inappropriate behavior on set.

Years after they've stopped filming together, George Takei still has some choice words for his former 'Star Trek' co-star William Shatner. In a 2022 interview with The Guardian, Takei, who starred as Sulu opposite Shatner’s Captain Kirk, said there were healthy relationships among cast members, "except for one, who was a prima donna.” The actor appeared to be alluding to Shatner, whom he later addressed more explicitly when he was asked if any of the cast got along with Shatner. “No, none of us," Takei replied. Earlier in November, Shatner had called out his former co-stars in an interview with The Times UK for using slander against him as publicity for themselves. "George has never stopped blackening my name," Shatner said. Well, Takei responded in his Guardian interview and said he decided he doesn't need Shatner's name. “I have much more substantial subject matter that I want to get publicity for, so I’m not going to refer to [Shatner] in this interview at all. Although I just did. He’s just a cantankerous old man and I’m going to leave him to his devices. I’m not going to play his game," Takei concluded.

The creators of 'Superbad' revealed that actors Jonah Hill and Christopher Mintz-Plasse did not get along when they co-starred in the 2007 comedy. Hill had already been cast in the lead role and was brought in to do scenes with actors auditioning for the role of McLovin. As writer Seth Rogen remembers it, when Mintz-Plasse auditioned, “Jonah immediately hated him.” Producer Judd Apatow recalled that Mintz-Plasse was “very caustic and attacked Jonah and did improvs insulting Jonah.” Hill told producers that he didn't like him and didn't want to work with him. Apatow reportedly responded, "That’s exactly why we’re hiring him. It couldn’t be more perfect. The fact that it bothers you is exactly what we want." Hill's character is perpetually irritated by the over-confident, nerdy McLovin, and their chemistry certainly went a long way in turning the comedy into a classic.

Julia Roberts and Nick Nolte -

Julia Roberts and Nick Nolte co-starred in the 1994 movie 'I Love Trouble,' and had a famously bad relationship with each other on set. Roberts gave an interview during production in which she described Nolte as disgusting. "From the moment I met him we sort of gave each other a hard time, and naturally we get on each other’s nerves,” she explained.

The reporter asked her about Nolte's reputation for crude behavior, and Roberts answered, "[While he can be] completely charming and very nice, he’s also completely disgusting. He’s going to hate me for saying this, but he seems go out of his way to repel people."

In a November 10, 2022 interview with Insider, Nolte was asked about the infamous drama with his co-star from nearly 30 years ago. According to him, they haven't been in contact since they worked on the movie together in 1993, but as far as he's concerned, there's no feud. “I mean, it was absurd what we went through. It was partly my fault and a little bit of hers. Julia got married at the beginning of that film and it was one of those things where I just approached it all wrong.”

Josh Peck and Drake Bell were the co-stars of the hit Nickelodeon show ‘Drake and Josh’ back in the early 2000s. Years later, Peck opened up about how he struggled with mental health issues and addiction following his child stardom, but he also revealed that his relationship with his co-star also took a dive after the “glory days.” Rumors of their rift came to a head when it was revealed that Peck didn’t invite Bell to his wedding in 2017. Peck addressed the situation on a podcast, stating that he and Bell hadn’t really been in touch for 10 years when he got married, so he didn’t invite him. He also claimed that he started receiving aggressive messages from Bell on the night of his wedding, while his wife was attacked online because Bell had made a public post about not being invited.

The two have been seen reuniting in public a couple of times since then, but according to Peck, they aren’t friends.

When SATC got rebooted with the new series 'And Just Like That,' Cattrall's beloved character Samantha was noticeably absent. In the past, Cattrall had made it clear that she would never reprise the role of Samantha, news which saddened many fans of the show. The series finale of 'And Just Like That' came and went with no sight of Samantha. Variety asked Sarah Jessica Parker whether she would be OK with it if Cattrall ever wanted to rejoin the show. Her answer was unequivocal: "I don't think I would, because I think there's just too much public history of feelings on her part that she's shared. I haven't participated in or read articles, although people are inclined to let me know."

Jensen Ackles has spilled the tea on his friend Jessica Alba! During an interview on the podcast 'Inside of You,' Ackles told host Michael Rosenbaum what it was really like to work with Alba on the Sci-Fi series 'Dark Angel' in 2000. Both actors were young and fresh-faced, but Alba was the more experienced lead and Ackles was the new kid. He recalled that Alba was under an immense amount of pressure, and was also in a rocky relationship with one of her other co-stars which added to the tension on set. Ackles says Alba acted like a bully as soon as he arrived. "I was the new kid on the block, and I got picked on by the lead. Like the worst kind of bickering a brother and sister could do. She had it out for me. It wasn’t that she didn’t like me. She just was like, ‘Oh, here’s the pretty boy that network brought in for some more window dressing because that’s what we all need.’"

Alexa Nikolas spoke out on January 14 via Instagram about her 'Zoey 101' co-star Jamie Lynn Spears' new memoir, 'Things I Should Have Said,' alleging that Spears was "lying up a storm," calling Spears a "bully," and claiming "nothing that she said in her book about me actually happened."  Nikolas famously left the Nickelodeon show after the second season, and in the years following she alleged that one of the reasons was because she'd been bullied by Spears. A day later, Nikolas posted again on Instagram, this time sharing a photo of herself in tears to show "what lying and bullying continues to do to others." She explained, "One minute you are able to laugh it off and then the next moment you are crying endlessly about it. Especially as you keep getting triggered by more hurtful words revealed about you from the person who wounded you deeply as a child." Nikolas added, "Healing is never linear. Even though you pray for it to be nightly. It’s hard. Really hard. Reading more cruel lies tonight really broke me down. It’s not fair."

While Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross seem just as tight off-screen as they did on-screen as husband and wife on 'Black-ish,' it turns out they didn't start off on great terms. In an interview with Parade magazine, Anderson admitted that a joke he made years ago offended Ross and led to a decade of icy relations between them. "We laugh about this now, but Tracee didn't like me for maybe 10 years!" he said. "We hosted the Vibe Awards [in 2005]. As we were walking onto the stage there was a loud sound over the speaker, and I said, 'Tracee? Did you fart?' The audience loved it, but what I did not know is how offended Tracee was by that comment." He admitted, "She really didn't start liking me until we were midway through the first season of Black-ish." Fortunately their relationship is completely repaired and stronger than ever. "But today, there's nothing that I would not do for Tracee," Anderson added.

In 2021, it was revealed that Patrick Dempsey became very difficult to work with and created a bad atmosphere on set. Now, co-star Isaiah Washington has made a shocking claim that Ellen Pompeo was paid off by producers to keep quiet about Dempsey's behavior. In a podcast interview with Tavis Smiley, Washington claimed that she "took $5 million under the table" during the height of the #MeToo Movement "to not tell the world how toxic and nasty Patrick Dempsey really was."

Vin Diesel and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s feud over the course of several 'Fast and Furious' films has been very publicized, from the press to even their personal social media accounts, but Diesel has since taken accountability for their infamous tension.

Speaking to Men’s Health, the actor and producer said his "tough love" method in trying to get a good performance out of The Rock became their source of bitterness. "It was a tough character to embody, the Hobbs character," Diesel said. “My approach at the time was a lot of tough love to assist in getting that performance where it needed to be. As a producer to say, ‘Okay, we’re going to take Dwayne Johnson, who’s associated with wrestling, and we’re going to force this cinematic world, audience members, to regard his character as someone that they don’t know.'"

Sure, Diesel is forgetting that Johnson already had a significant amount of acting experience under his belt, but he maintained that it was necessary for the artistic integrity of the film. "Hobbs hits you like a ton of bricks. That’s something that I’m proud of, that aesthetic. That took a lot of work," he continued. "We had to get there and sometimes, at that time, I could give a lot of tough love. Not Felliniesque, but I would do anything I’d have to do in order to get performances in anything I’m producing." 

Johnson left the main franchise after 'Furious 7' to film the spinoff 'Hobbs and Shaw,' but the feuding stars may very well share the screen again.

The feud can last a long time! In November, 2020, former 'Grey's Anatomy' star Isaiah Washington posted a photo of his ex-castmate Katherine Heigl in a tweet and wrote, "This woman once proclaimed that I should ‘never’ be allowed to speak publicly again," adding that public support for her proclamation cost him his career. "I wish I was on Twitter in 2007, because I will NEVER stop exercising my free speech," he said.

Heigl previously alleged that Washington, had used a homophobic slur towards their co-star T.R. Knight. Washington rejected the claim, while repeating the slur, at the 2007 Golden Globes, and Heigl later declared that Washington "needs to just not speak in public." A few months later, ABC announced Washington was leaving the show. The plot thickened in 2014 when showrunner Shonda Rhimes made her dislike for Heigl very public.

What started as a clash of politics on Twitter between former 'Charmed' co-stars Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan quickly turned into a nasty rehashing of an old rivalry. The far-reaching clash began on August 21 2020, after Milano showed support for the Democratic Party and McGowan criticized her white-centered feminism, then McGowan moved on to accuse Milano of appropriating the #MeToo Movement for fame. She then claimed Milano threw fits on set of 'Charmed' and showed appalling behavior, adding, "I cried every time we got renewed because you made that set toxic AF."
