The devil is back... and she’s still wearing Prada! The first teaser for 'The Devil Wears Prada 2'
dropped on November 12, reuniting Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway nearly two decades after the original film became a pop culture classic.
In the clip, Streep’s iconic Miranda Priestly strides through the offices of Runway to the tune of Madonna’s 'Vogue.' The teaser closes with Hathaway’s Andy Sachs joining Miranda in the elevator, just in time for Priestly’s perfectly cutting line: “Took you long enough.”
Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci will also reprise their roles for the sequel, which is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026.
It may have taken almost 20 years for Miranda and Andy to make their grand return, but they're not the only ones who kept fans waiting. In this gallery, we revisit other times fans had to wait years and years for prequels and sequels. Click through to see which ones kept fans waiting the longest.
