Lionsgate has unveiled the first teaser for 'The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping,' offering a debut look at Joseph Zada as a young Haymitch Abernathy. The film adapts the novel and takes place 24 years before the original series. The story follows Haymitch as he is chosen to compete in the 50th Hunger Games, in which each district must send double the tributes, forcing 48 children into a deadly fight for survival.
The teaser also highlights several new cast members stepping into iconic roles. Elle Fanning portrays a young Effie Trinket, while Ralph Fiennes takes on the role of President Coriolanus Snow. Kieran Culkin appears as Caesar Flickerman, and Jesse Plemons joins the franchise as a young Plutarch Heavensbee.
