Psychologists have been studying personality disorders such as psychopathy for decades. One question that remains largely unanswered is whether psychopathy is linked to specific aesthetic preferences, including music taste, as current research is still limited and inconclusive. Some studies, however, suggest that while music preferences are not diagnostic, patterns do still emerge.
