Lauryn Hill surprised fans at Roots Picnic music fest in Philadelphia by hosting a surprise mini Fugees reunion during her set—very likely to be their final performance for a while. Hill was celebrating the 25th anniversary of her iconic album 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill' in her headlining set when her former Fugees group mates Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel joined her onstage and performed one of their biggest hits, 'Ready or Not.' The reunion was extra rare because Michel was convicted in April on 10 counts of criminal conspiracy in his illegal foreign influence scheme case, involving a wealthy Malaysian financier trying to buy sway in US politics, and Michel could face up to 20 years behind bars depending on the upcoming sentencing. At least their reunion was unforgettable for all in attendance.
