The Rolling Stones are an iconic band that span generations of music lovers. With some 60 years of performing under their belts, the Stones have been the definition of true rock stars for decades.
Sadly, one of the greats has passed away. Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts died on August 24 at the age of 80. Although the cause of death was not made public, a statement from the family read: “He passed away peacefully in a London hospital surrounded by his family." Watts had been a member of the Stones since the beginning of 1963 and helped the group become one of the greatest bands in rock 'n' roll history.
