It was shortly after 10 pm on March 25 when Rosalía ended her concert in the sold-out Unipol Forum in Milan, Italy, due to health reasons. The Lux Tour concert, structured in four acts, was suspended exactly halfway through, after pauses where the singer went backstage feeling ill with severe food poisoning.
As the only concert in Italy for her latest tour, she left her 11,000 fans sad to see her go—but they applauded her will to try and push through.
Rosalía addressed the fans, saying "I feel sick, I tried to continue, but I have to stop the show. (...) I'm so sorry, Milan, because I wanted the show to go all the way to the end."
This was a first for Rosalía, who had never cut a concert short, but many artists have been forced to cancel shows in recent years due to health concerns and the physical toll of life on the road. Indeed, even world-famous musicians aren’t immune to being sick.
