Lionel Richie is hospitalized in an intensive care unit after appearing to struggle during his August 29 concert in St. Louis, Missouri.
The 77-year-old singer checked himself into a local hospital for testing after the performance, according to TMZ, which reported on August 31 that doctors were investigating the cause of his illness, with slight dehydration reportedly being considered.
Richie appeared to have difficulty finishing the show, asking for a chair during his final song, 'All Night Long,' witnesses told the outlet.
The episode marks the latest health scare for the singer this year. In June, Richie was rushed to a hospital after becoming ill onstage in Minnesota and abruptly ending the concert, later canceling shows in Chicago and Columbus.
