Lily Allen was forced to cancel her Auckland concert with just hours to go after falling ill with a "viral infection." It would have been her first performance in New Zealand since 2019.
The singer apologized on October 20 to fans in Auckland, New Zealand, writing on her Instagram Story, "To my West End Girls in Auckland, I am so sorry to have to tell you that I have come down with a viral infection and am unable to perform tonight (...) For those who have travelled all the way here, please accept my apology."
She added that "all tickets will be refunded" and stated that she hopes "to be able to come back to see you soon."
