Kehlani has canceled two upcoming shows after falling ill.
The 31-year-old musician announced the news in an Instagram post on August 26. “After two off days feeling completely normal, I’ve been up all night unable to swallow & in so much pain,” the singer wrote. “I just left the hospital & am not cleared to sing for the next two shows. I’m so sorry.”
“Camden & DC. My team is working on a solution,” she continued. “Breaks my heart to have to ever do this."
Kehlani is currently performing the North American leg of her self-titled world tour. Her next scheduled performance is set for August 29, at the Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront in Richmond, Virginia.
The two-time Grammy winner did not provide additional details about her illness.
