Rod Stewart is one of the most enduring figures in modern music history, with a career spanning nearly six decades and more than 250 million records sold worldwide. At 81, Stewart has announced The Final Encore: "Ladies and gentlemen, after much deliberation and sadness, I have to announce, next year will be my last tour ever, ever," he said in an Instagram video on September 28. The farewell run will take him across the UK and Europe from April to July 2027, with additional US dates scheduled in March and September.
Stewart stressed that he is not retiring completely, but said this will be his final rock tour.
