Technology has always been part of pop culture, and, of course, this includes numerous musical references. It's safe to say, for instance, that there are plenty of songs featuring telephones in them. But things get a bit more interesting when technology evolves and all of a sudden singing about answering machines, beepers, and VCRs really shows a song's age.
