Music's most stylish superstars

© Getty Images
Musicians and performers are easily the most influential brand of celebrities. They not only grace us with the gift of music, but also express themselves visually in ways that push the wheel of fashion forward. Iconic superstars from Bowie to Badu have made equally earth-shattering marks on music and on style. The antics and outfits of certain musicians have become cultural treasures that will be emulated and appreciated for generations to come.
Dua Lipa is simultaneously still at the peak and beginning of her career, and she's starting to show us what else she's capable of, from acting in the new 'Barbie' film to co-designing a luxury beachwear collection with Donatella Versace herself. The collection, called "La Vacanza," was presented in Cannes on May 23 features over 200 products from apparel and swimwear to various accessories including footwear, handbags, jewelry, sunglasses, and even various hair ties. True to the singer's style, it's full of crop tops, bright colors, butterflies, and the shiny pop aesthetic that Dua Lipa emanates.
“She has a great eye,” Donatella herself told Dazed over email. “I have worked with some amazing musicians over the years – Prince, Madonna, Elton John, Whitney Houston – and they all bring a different perspective to the table and a real understanding of their audience and how to connect with them. Dua is the same.”
