It's possibly the biggest rap feud in recent history. Drake and Kendrick Lamar's beef goes all the way back to 2013, but there must have been something in the air in 2024, as it's jumped to a whole new level.

Most recently, Lamar performed a hometown Juneteenth celebration concert in Inglewood, California, called 'The Pop Out: Ken & Friends,' along with a litany of other West Coast rappers. Featured guests included Ty Dolla $ign, Tyler, the Creator, and Dr. Dre. The concert was also streamed on Twitch by Amazon Music. According to Rolling Stone, Lamar performed his scathing No. 1 Billboard Top 100 diss track 'Not Like Us' a whopping five times during the night! One of the renditions was introduced by none other than Dr. Dre, while another was performed as a sort of victory lap. Lamar had the crowd singing along with him word for word, while his fellow performers joined him on stage to dance and rap with him.

In the lengthy rap battle that has been popping off between Drake and Lamar, 'Not Like Us' was the song that hit the hardest, as Lamar accuses Drake and his crew of having a preference for underage girls. One line advises any women dating Drake, "Just make sure you hide your lil' sister from him." Another goes straight for the jugular: "Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophiles." A room of 17,000 people chanted these now-infamous lines along with Lamar.

With disses flying back and forth, it might be hard to keep track, or perhaps you're just getting up to speed for the first time. Let's take a closer look at the poetic justice being dished out on both sides and remember how it all began.
