The Intervision Song Contest (ISC) was an international music competition held between 1965 and 1980, serving as the Eastern Bloc counterpart to Eurovision. Hosted in Czechoslovakia and Poland, it featured artists from across Europe and beyond. Following decades of inactivity and several failed revival attempts, Russia is now bringing the contest back. Scheduled for September 20, 2025, in Moscow, the new edition will feature participants from BRICS+ nations and other invited countries, including the US.
